How it works

Four phases, four months

Phase 1. Stop

Create enough space to finally hear & learn from yourself, and map exactly where you are today with your Me 1.0 Audit.Create enough space to finally hear yourself.

Phase 2. Notice

Surface  the unconscious beliefs, behaviours and emotional patterns that have been running the on auto for years.

Phase 3. Choose

Decide which parts of Me 1.0 deserve to come into Me 2.0, and which you are ready to retire to create space to grow and transform.

Phase 4. Go

Create your next chapter with clarity, confidence and accountability.Build your next chapter with clarity, confidence and accountability, and a plan you will actually follow.

The dark side of being brilliant

You’ve spent years becoming the woman everyone relies on.The dependable one.

The capable one.

The one who gets things done.

The one who never drops the ball.

Those qualities built your career.

They earned respect, opened doors and helped you achieve more than many people ever will.

But every strength has a shadow.

The perfectionism that drove high standards now keeps you awake at night.

The resilience that carried you through difficult years now means nobody notices when you’re struggling.

The instinct to help everyone else means your own needs always come last.

The determination that made you successful has become an inability to stop.

The behaviours that helped you build your success may now be the very behaviours preventing you from enjoying it.

You cannot outwork a tiredness whose fuel is overwork.

Your instinct is to try harder.

Plan better.

Be perfect.

Get up earlier.

Push through.

That instinct is part of your strength.

But it may also be part of the problem.

The way forward is to stop long enough to become aware of the system you’ve been running.

To keep the parts that still serve you, retire the parts that are costing you, and deliberately build a way of living and leading that is sustainable.

That is the work of The Me 2.0 Project.

Title

In my experience work as a coach, I have yet to meet a capable woman who is not quietly paying for her success somewhere the world cannot see.

I have met women who were demoted, not promoted or made to start over, simply because they had children.

Women living two lives, working twice as hard to hold both, still wondering whether the children are alright and whether the holiday insurance got sorted.

Women made to feel like part-timers for leaving before eight in the evening.

It is more intense in male-dominated work environments, where the demands on a woman quietly run to double the expectation set for the men beside her. So these women push harder.

They overcompensate for insecurities nobody else can see. They hold themselves back from the promotion they have already earned.

So what is actually going on?

You learned, early and well, that being twice as prepared and half as much trouble was how you earned your place.

In rooms that were not built for you, you adapted, you over-delivered, you masked the strain, and it worked. You were promoted for it.

But the operating system that got you here was written in your twenties for a fraction of the load you now carry, and the infrastructure hasn’t been added since to underpin the increased demand that have crept up over time. So you carry the responsibility, in your own body, into your evenings, into the part of your mind that never switches off.

The exhaustion is not a flaw in you.

It is the predictable cost of running an old system at a volume it was never built for.

You have become so capable that everyone needs you. Now it is time to show up for yourself.
